Gear Up, Girl!

Gear Up, Girl! provides choice-based support through gift cards and in-kind gear, meeting real needs in a way that restores dignity and confidence. Participants can select items that fit their lives, bodies, and goals, from everyday essentials to quality gear, rather than receiving one-size-fits-all donations.

Through our Wall Locker program, donated clothing and gear are thoughtfully organized so individuals can choose what feels right for them, just as they would in any retail setting. Together, these supports offer practical relief, renewed confidence, and steadier footing as women move forward.

Healing at Ease

Healing at Ease provides access to 20 sponsored online therapy sessions, removing financial and logistical barriers before challenges escalate. By offering consistent, confidential mental health support during periods of healing, transition, or strain, the program helps strengthen emotional stability, confidence, and resilience. This dignity-centered approach allows individuals to receive care on their own terms, supporting wellbeing early and creating a stronger foundation for what comes next.

Women veterans face significantly higher rates of suicide than civilian women, often driven by cumulative stress, isolation, and barriers to consistent mental health care. Research shows that early, accessible support plays a critical role in reducing crisis and improving long-term wellbeing. Prevention is not only effective, it is essential.

Room to Rise

Room to Rise offers short restorative stays designed to provide space from daily demands and the opportunity to reset before crisis. These stays are not retreats or treatment programs. They are intentional pauses that offer a calm, supportive environment where individuals can rest, breathe, and reconnect with themselves at any point in their lives.

During each stay, participants have access to therapy support, allowing care to exist alongside rest. This combination of physical space and mental health support supports emotional regulation and stability, strengthening wellbeing and emotional steadiness without requiring explanation or justification.

Women veterans often carry years of accumulated stress without time or space to address it. Room to Rise is grounded in the belief that prevention is an act of respect. When individuals are given time to rest and access to early support, outcomes improve, resilience strengthens, and the path forward becomes clearer.
